Mitsubishi Thermostat Adapter for BACnet and Modbus Interface - PAC-US444CN-1

The PAC-US444CN-1 thermostat interface allows for the use of a third-party thermostat to control Mitsubishi Electric indoor units. With 3 input terminals for fan Speed control - Auto, Medium, High, and custom auto, this interface also enables HVAC thermostats and input/output controllers to manage residential or commercial indoor units via its CN105 connector. Any system compatible with the MHK1 controller model can now be controlled by a third-party HVAC thermostat or input/output controller.

This interface is designed for use with conventional systems, NOT for heat pump control. The required minimum terminals include R, C, G, W1, and Y1, while the preferred terminals include R, C, G, W1, W2, Y1, and Y2. Line Voltage Thermostats will not be compatible with this interface.

The PAC-US444CN-1 is compatible with most current indoor units offered by Mitsubishi Electric US. It allows for only 1 third-party thermostat to connect to 1 thermostat interface, controlling a single indoor unit even for MXZ multi-zone systems. It is also compatible with the PAC-SE41TS Remote Temperature sensor, as well as the MAC-331F, but does not support M-Net or MA Control - a 12 VDC power supply will be needed for the MAC-33IF.

Please note that the PAC-US444CN-1 is compatible with Mitsubishi CITY-MULTI (Models after April 2012), M-Series, and P-Series Indoor Units. It has been tested with Nest, Honeywell, Lyric, and INNCOM thermostats with fan speed control. Supported thermostats include Nest, Honeywell, Lyric, and INNCOM with fan speed control.
